Taking Yourself Too Literally
- Me: Hey Isaac, I don't think I understand this article. I mean, what was the author's intention?
- Isaac Von Wirt: Well, you have to think that anyone who reads it has got a pretty good idea of the subject matter. They're informed readers, not aliens who have just descended from space.
- Me: But...it wasn't very clear to me, and I'm not an alien.
- Von Wirt: But I am.
- Me: (shocked) ...what?
